L.A. BURDICK CHOCOLATE Print E-mail

Image Twenty years ago, Larry Burdick came back from Switzerland with a chocolate pot. He wanted to make chocolate confections that could truly be called chocolate.

He’d start from blocks of dark chocolate from France & Switzerland – low in sugar and rich in flavor – that were essentially unused on these shores and fashion them into an assortment of creations he’d been contemplating for years. Larry Burdick is regarded as a pioneer in America’s high-end chocolate, and says of his philosophy “I’ve tried to combine a French gastronomic sensibility with Swiss know-how, and American imagination.”  If you are ever in Cambridge, MA stop by at their Store & Cafe and try the Chocolate Lemon Cake, lemon cake layered with lemon cream and topped with a dark chocolate glaze with their signature hot chocolate or go to online to have it delivered at your door!  www.burdickchocolate.com
